Allegro features include (deep breath…):
- 3 lengths: cropped pants, 9″ shorts and 5″ shorts
- 2 skirts: knee length and ankle length with side slits
- Optional cuffed shorts and front slash pockets
- Drawstring and elastic waist
With limited sewing time because of kids home for Summer, I was only able to squeeze in time for the skirt. I love skirts for hot summer months! Although the pattern is mainly drafted for wovens, I made this Allegro skirt from jegging cotton lycra and I have to say it’s the most comfortable “jean” skirt ever! I also made another from French Terry (not pictured here). It sews up so quickly!
I love the front pockets and the drawstring elastic waist!
Many testers included the Allegro shorts under the skirt too (like peekaboo shorts for added coverage).
One of the most amazing parts about this pattern, though, is the detailed measurements chart. Tami has gone out of her way to include measurements from the waist down to the calf, which makes grading between sizes a breeze, even for beginners! Simply find your measurements on the chart, select the sizes in the pattern layers that match your measurements and only print those sizes. Follow the pattern instructions on grading and blending sizes for a custom fit!
As always, tiered pricing is in effect! While you shop for your Allegro pants, check out some of the amazing tops that you can pair with it and save while you shop! Remember buy 2 patterns and save 10%; buy 3 patterns and save 15%; buy 4+ patterns and save 20%….no coupon codes needed!
